Your new companyA global law firm with a presence across Europe, the Middle East, Asia and the Americas is looking for a qualified Partnership Accountant to join the team. The firms expertise spans a variety of industries including, aviation, construction, insurance, shipping and energy. Your new roleIn your new role as a Partnership Accountant you will report into the Head of Tax and the Group Tax Manager to provide tax compliance and advisory services to the firm and its partners.

  • Prepare tax computations for partnerships and LLPs within the group, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.
  • Organise and compile information for personal tax reliefs.
  • Assist in the bi-annual partners' tax payments process, working with external tax advisors to ensure smooth transactions.
  • Calculate partners' tax reserves, including DTR and equalisation.
  • Support the firm's cash flow forecasting related to tax payments.
  • Review annual tax and statutory compliance deadlines with other tax advisors/accountants to maintain an accurate compliance calendar.
  • Prepare and periodically review process notes, identifying areas for improvement in tax processes.
  • Serve as a key contact for HMRC, partners, external tax advisors, and partners' accountants on tax matters.
  • Provide support in the absence of the Tax Manager.
  • Undertake ad hoc projects related to the firm's and partners' tax affairs.

You will be confident in providing tax compliance services within a professional services or financial services environment. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with senior stakeholders.
