Salary: £40,000

JGA is collaborating with a fantastic, well-known brand to find a Payroll Specialist for the UK and Ireland on a permanent basis.
  
Responsibilities:
  • Respond to payroll queries for Ireland and the UK, ensuring compliance with company SLA’s and managing stakeholder expectations.
  • Complete monthly remittances accurately and on time, including correspondence with HMRC and internal auditors.
  • Conduct auto-enrolment checks, SMP calculations, and ensure UK payroll changes comply with legislation.
  • Validate payroll reports from the outsourced provider and research upcoming UK legislation changes for integration.
  • Support payroll processing tasks, including managing maternity schedules, timecards, and bonus reconciliations.  
About you:
  • Experienced with time management and HR systems, possessing high analytical skills and accuracy in work.
  • Proven ability to handle a wide range of payroll queries and maintain confidentiality while building strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented and adaptable to change, able to work quickly to meet deadlines and deliver quality service on time.
  • Knowledgeable in UK payroll legislation, including SMP, SSP, and pensions auto-enrolment, with proven experience in a payroll team, ideally in a commercial environment with an outsourced provider.
  • Proficient in Excel with intermediate skills and experience using various formulas.
