Job Description:My client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Production Accountant to join our esteemed team in London. As a Production Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial aspects of post-production projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the financial operations of multiple post-production projects.
- Prepare and maintain detailed cost reports and financial statements.
- Monitor budgets and track expenditures to ensure projects stay within financial constraints.
- Reconcile accounts and manage cash flow for assigned projects.
- Collaborate with production teams to gather financial data and provide financial insights.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
- Assist with the preparation of financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Liaise with external auditors and provide necessary documentation for audits.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial efficiency.
- Provide support and guidance to junior accounting staff as needed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Production Accountant or in a similar role within the film or post-production industry.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
