Job Description:My client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Production Accountant to join our esteemed team in London. As a Production Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial aspects of post-production projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the financial operations of multiple post-production projects.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed cost reports and financial statements.
  • Monitor budgets and track expenditures to ensure projects stay within financial constraints.
  • Reconcile accounts and manage cash flow for assigned projects.
  • Collaborate with production teams to gather financial data and provide financial insights.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Assist with the preparation of financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Liaise with external auditors and provide necessary documentation for audits.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial efficiency.
  • Provide support and guidance to junior accounting staff as needed.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Production Accountant or in a similar role within the film or post-production industry.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
