We are seeking an Accounts Assistant to join our vibrant, fast-growing company specialising in UK and US post-production. This role is perfect for a quick learner who is eager to expand their experience in the media/entertainment industry, working with large streaming services, and US, UK, and European studios on a range of medium and big-budget high-end TV series and films.
Day to day of the role:
- Enter Purchase Orders and Accounts Payable in PSL/SmartAccounting/Eclipse.
- Manage digital filing, including the use of DocuSign, Nitro PDF, and studio-specific platforms such as Box, DropBox, and Google Drive.
- Process Purchase Orders using DPO/ezyPO/SmartPO.
- Conduct payment runs on bank accounts.
- Manage tasks efficiently on Microsoft Teams.
- Work dynamically across multiple projects, tracking progress and providing quick, insightful status updates upon request.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Media/entertainment industry or production/post-production accounts experience is a plus.
- Bookkeeping or accounts experience or confidence with using Excel.
- Knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping.
- Confident and proactive with the ability to troubleshoot problems.
- Clear communication skills for liaising with external suppliers, clients, and the internal team.
