A unique opportunity has arisen for an R&D Tax Manager to join an innovative, growing accountancy practice in Central London. As the R&D tax practice continues to expand, we're seeking a dynamic professional to manage client relationships and lead R&D tax credit claims across multiple sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end R&D tax credit claims for a diverse portfolio of clients
  • Conduct technical interviews with clients to identify qualifying R&D activities
  • Write detailed technical reports to support R&D claims
  • Review and analyze client financial data to quantify R&D expenditure
  • Manage and develop client relationships across various sectors
  • Supervise and mentor junior team members
  • Handle HMRC enquiries and correspondence
  • Contribute to business development initiatives and proposal writing
  • Deliver R&D tax workshops and training sessions
  • Stay current with R&D tax legislation and HMRC guidance
Required Experience & Qualifications
  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CTA) or relevant tax qualification
  • Minimum 5+ years' experience in R&D tax
  • Strong technical understanding of R&D tax legislation
  • Proven track record of successful R&D claims
  • Experience handling HMRC enquiries
  • Excellent report writing abilities
