Robert Half is partnering with a Global Consultancy business that are looking to hire a Revenue Accountant to join the team.

To support our successful growth, we are looking to appoint an experienced and dedicated Revenue Accountant to join our finance team.

Job Description: We are seeking an accomplished Revenue Accountant with extensive experience in revenue recognition. You'll be responsible for implementing and monitoring policies and procedures to ensure that revenue is recognized in accordance with relevant accounting standards. This role provides an excellent opportunity for people who are studying or have qualified from ACCA or CIMA.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Preparing and posting monthly revenue-related journal entries.
  2. Reconciling and analyzing revenue accounts monthly.
  3. Assisting in annual audits and quarterly reviews.
  4. Applying revenue recognition rules to contracts and agreements.
  5. Collaborating with other departments to ensure accurate billing and revenue recognition.
  6. Providing ad-hoc financial analysis as required.

Requirements:

  1. Professional qualification or studying towards ACCA or CIMA.
  2. Strong knowledge and experience in revenue recognition.
  3. Minimum three years' experience in a similar role.
  4. Excellent analytical, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills.
  5. Advanced skills in Excel and accounting software.
  6. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  7. Excellent interpersonal skills, with an ability to communicate complex ideas concisely.

Salary

The salary for this vacanacy is £50,000 - £60,000 as well as wider benefits. This role will be based in London.
