Client Accountant - PR

Award winning PR Agency delivering award winning integrated communication campaigns for the world's most innovative technology companies are looking for a Revenue Client Accountant to join their highly successful team.

The Role

Supporting the Global and European Finance Team, you will be responsible for the client cycle from client set up through billing, revenue accounting and everything in-between. You will already have some solid experience gained from a revenue accounting role and knowledge of client financial procedures, processes, and audit requirements. You are self-motivated and enjoy developing relationships with a variety of teams and people at all levels of seniority.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Keeping track of all client budgets for both for all clients.
  • Supporting CEOs, FD and Finance Managers with revenue pipeline and fee forecast.
  • Assist the day-to-day finance operations to support the business.
  • Assistance with capacity planning, and project pricing
  • Keep track of revenue by maintaining all source documentation relating to new jobs and clients and ensure entries are tied back to our Accounting System.
  • Creating and maintaining client analyses as well as ad hoc reporting support (service levels, profitability, variance analysis) to reflect up to date billing and financial information.
  • Deliver the best-in-class client experience.
  • Assist in month end processes including monthly reconciliation and reporting.
  • Respond to enquiries from clients and client teams in a timely and professional manner.
  • Liaise with client teams to reconcile job balances and manage WIP to minimize financial risk.
  • Assist with preparing audits and auditor queries.
  • Establishing good communication with key stakeholders, managing internal and external relationships.

Skills and Exeperince

  • At least 3 years' experience in a Billing/Revenue position.
  • High affinity for figures and attention to detail.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, taking the initiative and seeing the job through.
  • You are organised with a positive, can-do attitude.
  • A mature attitude and responsible approach to confidential information.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
  • Excellent IT skills, including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint
  • Honesty and integrity are key values to us, so they should be to you.
  • Advantage if you have experience working in an agency environment and have dealt with SOX.
