Senior Accountant (2 Years PQE) - High-End Boutique Firm

Are you a Senior Accountant looking to take the next step in your career with a boutique firm known for its high-end clientele? If you have 2 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) and want to join a growing, dynamic team, this opportunity is for you.

About the Role:

In this role, you will work closely with a dedicated team of accountants and directly report to the Partners. You will oversee a diverse portfolio, assisting clients across various sectors such as start-ups, manufacturing, solicitors, and high-net-worth individuals (HNWI). With a turnover ranging from £2M to £25M, this firm is established within the SME space, and you'll be involved in a wide range of services, including:

  • Statutory Accounts
  • Management Accounts
  • Personal Tax
  • VAT and Corporate Tax
  • FRS102 (and occasional FRS105) compliance

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong technical skills to broaden their expertise in a fast-growing environment. You will have a chance to work with sophisticated clients and contribute to the firm's continued expansion. This role doesn't involve audits, as the firm does not hold an audit license, although there may be some assurance.

About You:

You will need to be ACA or ACCA qualified (or close to qualifying), with at least two years PQE in practice. The firm is open to professionals from a range of firms and backgrounds. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with the preparation of financial statements and tax compliance, with proficiency in using Iris software.
