Role Responsibilities

As a Senior Accountant, you’ll oversee a range of accounting tasks while supporting junior staff and maintaining strong client relationships. Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing statutory accounts and financial statements for a variety of clients
  • Managing and reviewing bookkeeping, VAT returns, and management accounts
  • Liaising directly with clients to address queries and provide proactive advice
  • Supporting the preparation of corporation tax computations and returns
  • Assisting with audits and ensuring compliance with relevant standards
  • Mentoring and training junior team members, fostering their professional growth
  • Contributing to process improvements to enhance efficiency and service delivery
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards and regulations
