Senior Accountant London £45,000 to £55,000 Butler Rose, public practice is delighted to be supporting our client, a well-established boutique firm of chartered accountants based in London that are keen to appoint a skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to take responsibility for a diverse client portfolio offering a range of accounts and taxation services. Role Requirements - Responsible for a client portfolio (LTD Co.s, sole traders and partnerships) spanning various industries and of differing turnovers. Preparation of Year End financial statements in accordance with FRS102-1A and FRS105 using PTP/IRIS accounting software Computations for corporation tax CT600 returns and submission to the HMRC. Preparing personal tax SA100 returns for self-employed and high net worth individuals etc. Producing quarterly VAT returns and submitting these to the HMRC. Supporting and reviewing the work of other staff members Utilising cloud-based software such as XERO, Quickbooks and Sage50 for accounting tasks as required by clients. Person Requirements - ACCA qualified, or late-stage part qualified with at least 4+ years' experience working for a UK based practice as a senior accountant. Proven experience of year-end accounts preparation and corporation and personal tax production. Proficient in the use of various accounting software to ideally include PTP/IRIS, XERO, Quickbooks and Sage50 Experience of supervising, mentoring, coaching, and reviewing the work of a team Excellent communication skills and confident speaking to internal staff and clients alike.
