Senior Accountant

£62,500 + Pension
This is a great opportunity for a Senior Accountant looking for a responsible and varied role to join a thriving local firm of Accountants who have been established in the local community for many years.
Some of your duties will include:
- Managing accounts on behalf of small-medium sized sole traders, Partnerships and Limited Companies
- Coordinating client bookkeeping, VAT, payroll, management reporting and year end accounting requirements
- Producing bought, sales and nominal ledger records and preparing cash books to trial balance level
- Preparing client payrolls, completing month-end and year-end PAYE and HMRC returns
- Calculating, preparing and producing quarterly VAT returns and submitting payments to the HMRC
- Liaising with clients in order to provide professional advice and make commercial recommendations
