Senior Finance Business Partner | £58-62k | Children's Charity | Permanent | 2 days in Central London office

This Senior Finance Business Partner role is a newly created opportunity to join an iconic children's charity during a restructure. This role is a varied position working with passionate stakeholders within the charity as well as managing a strong team of Business Partner/Management Accountants. This role will be working closely with the senior stakeholders across various areas such as commercial income generation or the charity services. This role will require a qualified accountant with a strong technical background.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working as a senior member of a productive and collaborative FP&A team, managing a small team of motivated staff.
  • Delivering excellent service to various stakeholders across the business, ensuring effective working relationships, with the ability to adapt the approach depending on the needs of the individual stakeholders.
  • Overseeing and updating Management Accounts, investigating variances, and identifying areas for improvement
  • Working closely with internal stakeholders to provide support and up-to-date information relating to budgets and forecast information
  • Prepare and deliver KPIs and budgets in line with the organisation's long-term strategy
  • Analysing metrics and other data to ensure accurate and relevant reporting

Person Specification

  • A fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CIPFA)
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with various stakeholders of complex needs and requirements.
  • Experience of management accounting
  • Ideally experience of managing a small team, or supervising junior staff
  • Excellent technical skills including advanced Excel skills
  • Entrepreneurial and ambitious character with a proactive mindset
