Senior Financial Accountant

£65,000/yr - £70,000/yr

A market leading, diversified property company is looking for a Financial Accountant who will be responsible for value add reporting for key business areas. The business is well capitalised with active investors and has interests in commercial, office, retail and residential (including BTR). You will ensure accurate quarterly reporting, help with audits, and provide valuable insights for decision-making. This role also involves working with various accounting systems and supporting compliance with UK GAAP and IFRS standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate financial reports and reviews for specific business areas.

  • Manage intercompany transactions and ensure financial data is up to date.

  • Maintain financial models and assist in preparing financial statements.

  • Work with auditors and support the implementation of new accounting standards.

  • Conduct credit checks and help improve our financial systems.

About You:

  • Qualified ACA or ACCA with experience in financial accounting.

  • Experience in Real Estate, retail, hospitality or multi-site businesses.

  • Strong understanding of UK GAAP, IFRS, and the Companies Act.

  • Proficient in Excel; experience with Yardi or similar systems is a plus.

  • Detail-oriented, able to manage tasks independently, and a great team player.
