Client Details

Our Client is a mid-sided growing technology company Headquartered in London with operations in Germany, Spain, and Portugal.

Description

  • Prepare and manage the company's monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to relevant accounting standards (IFRS or UK GAAP).
  • Lead and manage external audits, ensuring full compliance with UK and international statutory requirements. Support the Financial Controller in ensuring proper internal controls and risk management across all entities.
  • Prepare and review financial consolidations for the group, which includes multiple European entities.
  • Liaise with tax advisors and ensure compliance with corporate tax, VAT, and other relevant taxes for the UK and European entities.
  • Collaborate on improving financial processes and implementing new systems as the business scales.
  • Support the Financial Controller with ad-hoc financial projects.

Profile

  • Fully qualified: ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent.
  • Strong experience in audit, ideally from a smaller audit firm, with exposure to tech or fast-growing sectors.
  • Comfortable using financial software and systems. Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Xero) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with multi-currency environments and European tax and accounting regulations is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach to identifying and solving problems.
