This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in Central London, within a company that values professional growth and global impact.We are seeking a Senior Financial Accountant – Capex & Central Functions to play a pivotal role in managing the organisation’s capital expenditure and overseeing the financial management of central functions. Reporting directly to the Head of Commercial Finance, you will work closely with the Finance team and key stakeholders to support the company’s global operations, particularly in the areas of Property and Technology investments.Responsibilities of the Senior Financial Accountant – Capex & Central Functions include:
  • Oversee all aspects of Capex accounting, including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and the approval process.
  • Manage Capex reporting and ensure full compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Own the end-to-end Capex process, driving financial success and strategic direction for global Property and Technology investments.
  • Lead the financial management of central functions, developing a cost allocation process that reflects business-wide investment.
  • Support transfer pricing optimisation through effective cost management and reporting.
  • Provide insightful analysis and support investment decisions, collaborating with key stakeholders across the business.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial results, including month-end and year-end processes.
  • Support the Head of Commercial Finance in developing financial forecasts, budgets, and strategic initiatives.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and efficiencies.
  • Assist with internal and external audits related to Capex and central functions.
The successful Senior Financial Accountant – Capex & Central Functions will possess:
  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification or equivalent.
  • Strong experience in Capex accounting and financial management.
  • Proven ability of implementing and improving processes.
  • Ability to work with senior stakeholders and support strategic business initiatives.
  • Strong financial modelling skills and business case development.
  • Proficiency in financial systems (particularly TM1).
