A Senior Financial Accountant required for a globally, listed conglomerate company based in London!

Up to £60,000 - £75,000 + Bonus and Benefits, dependant of experience

An opportunity has arisen for a Finance professional to join a globally listed Conglomerate as they look to hire a Senior Financial Accountant role. The organisation provide services all across the world, applying their core skills into the market to support their customers needs.

We are looking for someone to be hands on as they manage the financial accounting as well as supporting with VAT and Tax for the organisation. You will be a key player in enhancing processes and setting out best practice for colleagues and the team.

To successfully deliver in the profile position, you will need to have:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CA)
  • Experience in preparing group statutory accounts
  • Experience in producing management reports
  • Tax and VAT experience
  • The ability to influence stakeholders
  • Experience in leading on external audits
  • Hands on approach
  • Strong excel and systems skills

A little more information about the role:

  • Lead on the group's financial reporting requirements, including cash flow forecast, balance sheet reconciliations and Tax requirements
  • Complete Tax and VAT related tasks such as preparations and support the tax team with these
  • Ensure timely preparation and completely of statutory accounts
  • Supporting department heads with their cost management
  • Providing analysis to the senior leadership team in order to aid decision making
  • Design, document and implement internal controls and processes
