One of the world's most prestigious Private Equity businesses has an opening for a qualified financial accountant in their central finance team.

Based in high-end offices in central London this hybrid role is a great contract opportunity available for 12 months offering autonomy and exposure to senior leadership. You will need to be a technically strong well-rounded accountant who will be responsible for accurate and timely financial accounting and management information as well as more varied and rounded duties.

Duties include:

  • Preparation of Monthly, Quarterly and Annual statutory financial statements (GAAP and IFRS)
  • Consolidation reporting
  • Involvement in the Audit process
  • Monthly management information and analysis
  • Subsequent analysis and decision support
  • Assist in the preparation of quarterly Board packs, providing value-added analysis
  • Business partnering with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
  • Process improvement and increasing team efficiencies.

Skills/Experience required:

  • A recognised accounting qualification
  • 3+ years of PQE ideally from the Investment sector, wider FS is also considered
  • Experience in IFRS financial accounting
  • Strong IT system skills
  • Experience in process improvements
