Cobalt is currently supporting a property company in its search for a Senior Financial Accountant to join their Finance team on a long-term contract.

This business is looking to hire a Senior Financial Accountant on an initial contract to lead the review of monthly, financial and regulatory reporting and consolidations.

Key responsibilities:

Review consolidated financial statements under IFRS/ UK GAAP
Review monthly and quarterly management accounts
Review UK VAT returns
Write quarterly Board Papers
Review annual budget and business plan
Internal and external stakeholder management
Liaising with internal and external auditors

Requirements:

ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified (or equivalent)
Property industry experience
Organised individual
Strong knowledge of IFRS
Strong Excel skills
