Halliday Marx is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant for a media business on a permanent basis, offering a hybrid working model of three days in the office and two days at home.
The role involves responsibilities such as supporting month-end and year-end consolidation, reviewing statutory reporting for UK entities, and leading on complex statutory accounts under UK GAAP.
Candidates should be ACA/ACCA/CA qualified with ideally 1-2 years of industry experience, preferably having been audit trained.
A confident personality is essential for dealing with senior stakeholders, and experience with Dynamics 365 is considered a significant advantage.

Halliday Marx have partnered with a media business to hire a Senior Financial Accountant on a permanent basis.

Hybrid working (3 office, 2 home)

Responsibilities

Support the month-end and year-end consolidation process
Review and delivery of the statutory reporting for UK entities
Being the technical lead on complex statutory accounts under UK GAAP / FRS 102
US GAAP to UK GAAP reconciliations
Liaising with auditors
VAT/PSA submissions
Liaising with in house tax team on submissions
Ownership of accounting for central holding entities
Support the accounting and integration of acquisitions

Requirements

ACA/ACCA/CA qualified
Ideally audit trained with 1-2 years in Industry
Confident personality and able to deal with senior stakeholders
Experience with Dynamics 365 would be a big advantage
