Senior Fund Accountant - Central London - £80,000 to £90,000 per year plus bonus
FryerMiles is delighted to be working on an incredible opportunity to join a leading Financial Services Company who invest across senior and subordinated debt, managing around $16bn of capital. With rapid expansion over the past few years and new overseas offices, this is a fantastic time to join our client as they continue growing.
The Senior Fund Accountant is responsible for several entities within the Fund Accounting team, preparing all deliverables for review by the Fund Controller. The Senior Fund Accountant will be an experienced financial professional who can operate independently and also have oversight of more junior members of the team.
The Senior Fund Accountant is responsible for:
- External Fund Accounting and Reporting - review of quarterly and annual reporting to Limited Partners e.g. Financial statements and Partner statements
- Quarterly and annual fund accounting for several Guernsey and Luxembourg based closed-ended funds within the Junior debt strategy. This includes reconciliation of the general ledgers, preparation of Fund financial statements, and preparation of Capital Account statements for individual investors
- Internal Fund Accounting and Reporting - developing and improving internal reporting outputs
- Quarterly and annual reporting for other entities related to their Funds, including accounts for General Partner entities and internal carry reporting for Founder Limited Partner members
- Preparation of Drawdown / Distribution calculations and notices for external investors, monitoring cash & liquidity alongside middle office colleagues
- Key role in year-end Audit, preparing deliverables for Auditors and managing internal timelines
The successful candidate should be ACCA or ACA qualified with 5 years post qualified experience, a strong team player, highly motivated and be flexible within their role to take on new challenges and responsibilities. Experience of Credit Funds and Investran would be an advantage.
