Group Accountant, 12 month FTC, Global Consultancy, £70,000+
Altum Consulting are partnering with a global consulting firm to recruit an experienced Group Accountant. This role is for an initial 12-month period to support across BAU and merger projects. Role:
- Assist with mid-year audit activities relating to recent merger
- Production of weekly key financial information reports for SLT
- Team contribution to deliver month-end group consolidation and reporting to a five working day deadline
- Analytical review of monthly results to understand trends, significant transactions and identify errors
- Assist in improving the control environment of the Group
- Review and improve the internal controls across the Group, implementing changes as appropriate
You'll be/have:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/CA) with practical experience working in large complex groups
- Excellent knowledge of IFRS
- Ability to discuss technical accounting issues with SLT
- Ability to work under pressure/manage conflicting priorities
