An international brand based in central London is seeking a Senior Group Financial Accountant for an initial 6-month period.
The role requires a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA) with a preference for candidates with a Big 4 background and at least 5 years of experience.
Key responsibilities include global IFRS accounting support, assisting with M&A projects, and maintaining financial consolidation quality.
The position offers a day rate of £500-600 (inside IR35) and involves collaboration with various departments such as Tax, Treasury, and Legal.
Strong communication skills are essential, as the role involves advising global teams on technical accounting matters.

An international brand based in central London are seeking to recruit a Senior Group Financial Accountant for an initial period of 6-months. Working closely with the Group Financial Reporting Manager and Group FD responsibilities will include:

Global point of contact for IFRS accounting
Provide accounting support to group strategic projects across M&A and refinancing
Supporting the annual reporting cycle including preparation of accounting papers for the Audit Committee.
Work with colleagues to help maintain the quality of the Group’s financial consolidation through review of monthly reporting
Support central finance and strategic activities, working with colleagues across disciplines to include Tax, Treasury and Legal.

You will be:

Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA) preferably with a Big 4 background
Financial Reporting experience under IFRS
Experience of auditing large multi-currency Groups
A strong communicator comfortable with advising global teams of technical accounting matters
