Halliday Marx have partnered with a well-known media business to recruit a Senior Management Accountant on a 9-month fixed term contract basis.

This role has hybrid working (3 days in the office, 2 from home).

The right candidate must be able to start immediately.

Responsibilities

  • Producing a full set of Management Accounts - {Monthly P&L + Balance Sheet} for several entities
  • Actual vs Budget Variance Analysis
  • Budgeting + Forecasting for 1 entity
  • Liaising with the Auditors
  • Preparation of Journals, prepayments and Accruals
  • Producing the Statutory Accounts
  • Manage the audit process
  • Reconciliation of Payroll to the general ledger
  • VAT Submissions
  • Tax accounting duties

Requirements

  • Part Qualified in either (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) - Not purely from exemptions
  • P&L + Balance sheet experience is an absolute must
  • Able to handle strict month ends deadlines
  • Very good double entry bookkeeping skills
  • Strong Excel skills {Vlookup's & Pivot Tables as a minimum}
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
