Halliday Marx have partnered with a truly outstanding media business to recruit a Senior Management Accountant on an interim basis for 9 months to cover maternity. This role could go permanent.

This role has hybrid working (3 days in the office, 2 from home)

Responsibilities

  • Producing a divisional full set of management accounts - {Monthly p&l + balance sheet} for several entities
  • Actual vs budget variance analysis
  • Budgeting + forecasting
  • Liaising with the auditors
  • Preparation of journals, prepayments and accruals
  • Producing the statutory accounts
  • Manage the audit process
  • Reconciliation of payroll to the general ledger
  • VAT Submissions
  • Tax accounting duties

Requirements

  • On no more than a 2 week notice
  • Part Qualified in either (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • You must have experience with FULL ownership of the P&L / Balance sheet
  • Able to handle strict month ends deadlines
  • Very good double entry bookkeeping skills
  • Strong Excel skills {Vlookup's & Pivot Tables as a minimum}
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
