  • The role involves timely production of monthly management accounts, trial balances, and variance analysis, ensuring data accuracy and relevance.
  • The candidate will streamline the month-end close process, conduct monthly P&L review sessions with departmental heads, and enhance balance sheet reconciliations.
  • This position also includes leading year-end preparations and delivering high-quality audit deliverables.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience is required, with a competitive salary of £60,000 to £70,000 per annum.

Our Client, A global hospitality business, are looking to recruit a Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA Senior Management Accountant to help support the Group Financial Controller during this sustained period of growth.

The suitable candidate would have the following duties:-

  • Responsible for the timely production of the monthly management accounts and trial balances, including analysis and distribution, ensuring the data is relevant, reliable and accurate. Produce month end forecast variance analysis for the Accounts Close meeting
  • Responsible for streamlining the month end close process to ensure the full close is completed consistently by working day 5 each month
  • Business partner to the departmental heads. Hold monthly P&L review sessions and provide them with support so they understand their monthly P&L’s
  • Responsible for improving the quality of the current balance sheet reconciliations and ensuring that high quality balance sheet reconciliations are completed consistently every month for all venues
  • Lead role in preparing for year end and responsible for delivering high quality audit deliverables that are right first time
  • Management and development of one member of staff currently.
