What can you expect?

  • Supervise and manage the end-to-end processes of accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all transactions are processed accurately and in a timely manner.

  • Lead the year-end and month-end financial closing processes, guaranteeing the accuracy and timeliness of all financial activities.

  • Take full responsibility for the balance sheet, ensuring that all accounts are meticulously reconciled.

  • Oversee all aspects of finance operations, including financial planning and analysis, cash flow monitoring, balance sheet reconciliations, and system and control improvements. Handle ad-hoc projects and requests efficiently.

  • Perform thorough variance analysis on financial statements, extracting key trends and insights to support strategic decision-making.

  • Compile and present detailed financial reports to the Board and other external stakeholders, ensuring precision and clarity.

  • Facilitate the year-end audit process by providing essential documentation and insights to auditors.

  • Partner with the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team and the Head of Finance to supply comprehensive transactional information.

What experience/skill set will you bring?

  • A finalist ACCA/CIMA or QBE Accountant who is technically strong and is able to work with senior members of the business and build productive working relationships.
  • Previous business partnering experience will be beneficial but above all you will be a confident and articulate individual, both in person and through your reporting.
  • Have put together a comprehensive set of management accounts.
  • Be flexible and adaptable to a challenging and changing business environment.
  • Have good time management and organisational skills in planning your own work.
  • Have excellent interpersonal and business communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Sage experience (desirable) and strong excel skills (essential).
