Statutory Accountant - 6 month FTC

London

£60,000 - £70,000 depending on experience

Cobalt is currently supporting a prestigious Real Estate Developer in their search for a Statutory Accountant to join their team.

This business has had a fantastic year winning multiple new deals and are now looking to hire a Statutory Accountant on an initial 6 month FTC to lead on the production of the statutory accounts.

This is a great role to gain experience within the the Real Estate industry.

Key responsibilities:

  • Preparation of financial statements under IFRS
  • Preparation of monthly accounting
  • Balance sheet reconciliations, VAT reconciliations
  • Liaising with non-finance members & auditors
  • Potential to implement a new statutory accounting system

Requirements:

  • ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified (or equivalent)
  • Organised individual
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS
  • Statutory accounting background
  • Strong Excel skills
