My client, a leading, international Law Firm, are looking for a Tax Accountant to join their Partnership Tax function! This is an incredible opportunity for a fully qualified Tax professional to develop their experience further within Partnership Tax!Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate and timely partner and firm tax payments
  • Perform tax reserve calculations and ledger postings
  • Reconcile current year tax reserves
  • Liaise with partners and key stakeholders on compensation and tax balances
  • Prepare monthly drawings, quarterly distributions, and bi-annual bonus payments
  • Record tax transactions in Elite 3E
  • Prepare key spreadsheets and reconcile historical ledger entries
  • Simplify data collection and calculation tools in Excel
  • Request and sort financial data for tax computations
  • Create efficiencies in data capture and analytics
  • Participate in ad hoc projects and review departmental procedures

Key requirements:

  • Qualified accountant (ICAEW, ICAS, or ACCA preferred)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Experience with 3E or similar accounting software
  • Strong analytical skills for complex problems and data
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Initiative to anticipate issues and improve processes
