The Role

As a Corporate Tax Director, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-value advisory work while supporting and mentoring a talented tax team (30+ strong). Reporting directly to the firm’s Partners, you will drive the growth of the advisory function and act as a key strategic figure for the business.

You will be responsible for:

> Leading tax advisory projects across M&A, structuring, due diligence, and complex transactions

> Supporting and mentoring the wider tax team to enhance technical excellence and client service

> Managing a varied client portfolio, including private equity-backed businesses, owner-managed firms, and multinational companies

> Identifying new business opportunities and working closely with the Partners on strategic growth initiatives

> Liaising with key stakeholders, including legal teams, investors, and finance directors, to deliver commercially focused tax solutions

> Keeping ahead of tax legislation changes and ensuring clients receive proactive, high-quality advice

About You;

* CTA-qualified (or equivalent)

* Proven experience as a Senior Tax Manager / Associate Director / Director in a tax advisory-led role

* A strong track record in corporate tax advisory work, particularly within the PE-backed, SME, and international tax space

* A commercial mindset with the ability to develop and maintain client relationships

* Leadership experience, with a passion for mentoring and developing high-performing teams

* The ambition to step into a Partner-track role within a growing, high-profile firm
