Tax Disputes Manager - Top 10 Firm

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team specialising in tax disputes and disclosures. The role offers a unique breadth of work, as all disputes within the organisation are handled by this team. It's a perfect balance: large enough to tackle high-profile, complex cases, yet small enough for you to take ownership and lead on impactful projects.

What You'll Do:

  • Manage a portfolio of cases from client onboarding to settlement, supporting individuals and businesses through challenging tax disputes.
  • Draft detailed reports and correspondence for HMRC, with computational aspects supported by senior colleagues.
  • Build strong client relationships and deliver tailored advice and quotes.
  • Lead and mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative culture.
  • Contribute to technical materials and marketing initiatives, such as blogs or website updates.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, maximising cross-selling opportunities.

What We're Looking For:
You'll have significant UK tax dispute experience, either from a corporate tax or personal tax perspective. A professional qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIOT) or background as an HM Inspector of Taxes is ideal but not essential.
