Role Responsibilities

• Managing a corporate portfolio of clients and preparing tax returns for companies, partnerships, and non-resident landlords
• Liaising with the audit team to ensure tax-sensitive issues are correctly treated in the accounts
• Submitting returns to HMRC on time and advising clients on their tax liabilities, including interest and penalties
• Liaising with clients, attending meetings, and ensuring compliance matters are dealt with effectively
• Managing client workflows, drafting bills, and handling budget and WIP management
• Assisting with ad hoc tax matters and ensuring departmental procedures are followed to maintain the smooth running of the team
• Using Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and the CCH software suite

• ATT qualified or progressing towards CTA
• Previous experience working in a tax department of an accounting firm
• Strong knowledge of corporate tax compliance
• Excellent IT skills, with experience using the CCH software suite (desirable)
• Reliable, organised, and a good team player
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise with clients and HMRC
