Robertson Bell are supporting this organisation to recruit an Temporary Finance Officer, on an initial three-month temporary contract, with a high possibility to become permanent. The head office is based in London and operating on a hybrid working pattern.

The key responsibilities for the Temporary Finance Officer include:

  • Leading on the weekly payment runs, maintaining the Purchase and Sales ledger.
  • Ensuring prepayments, accruals, and journals are correctly posted to SAGE 50 at month end.
  • Reconciling the bank accounts and updating the cashbook.
  • Allocating payments in line with unrestricted and restricted funding.
  • Rasing and marching purchase orders to delivery notes.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Recent experience working in a similar role, specialising in Accounts Payable.
  • Experience using SAGE 50, 100 or 200 and intermediate MS Excel skills.
  • Familiarity of month end processes, including prepayments, accruals, and journals.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and a positive working attitude.
