Our client is a multinational shipping, finance advisory, and credit portfolio management service provider group headquartered in central London, with operations globally. Due to growth, the company is recruiting a Trainee Accountant to join their high-performing finance team.

Responsibilities:

  • Processing payments.
  • Issuing recharges to customers, monitor receipt.
  • Bookkeeping for a number of asset owning entities and assist the Portfolio Accountant in the preparation of quarterly reporting packs.
  • Assist Portfolio Accountant with financing projects.
  • Assist on the cash waterfall transfers.
  • Compile invoices for Irish VAT return.
  • Assist with the year-end audit.
  • Cash management and liaising with bank(s) for account maintenance.
  • Ad hoc tasks as required.

Role Requirements

  • Recent Bachelor's Degree from a UK University is essential
  • Proficiency in basic Microsoft Office functions (Word and Excel).
  • Ability to take and organize screenshots efficiently.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
  • Basic understanding of document formatting and file management.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
  • Good communication skills and a proactive attitude.
