Our client is seeking a highly experienced Transaction Processing Officer for a 9-month fixed-term contract, based in London. What you'll do:
As a Transaction Processing Officer, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of our client's investment management firm. Your primary responsibility will be to monitor Fixed Income and Equity trade flow, ensuring all transactions are processed accurately and efficiently. You will also be tasked with resolving any issues related to breaks or failing trades promptly. Additionally, you will be expected to respond to queries from various stakeholders including businesses, clients and third parties. Your role will also involve supporting internal, client and regulatory audit requirements.
* Monitor Fixed Income and Equity trade flow to confirm transaction bookings, cancellations and amendments.* Ensure timely and accurate confirmation of all trades.* Promptly resolve breaks and failing trades.* Investigate and validate any debit interest or claims.* Respond to business, client and third party queries efficiently.* Support internal, client and regulatory audit requirements.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Transaction Processing Officer role brings a wealth of experience from working within an investment management firm or an Investment Bank. You possess a deep understanding of trade instruction, confirmation, fails and settlements processes. Your flexibility allows you to manage high urgency tasks effectively while adjusting to shifting priorities. You have strong organisational skills coupled with problem-solving abilities and analytical prowess. Your attention to detail is impeccable. Furthermore, you are competent in using Microsoft Office as well as DTCC CTM.
* Minimum of 7 years' experience within an investment management firm or an Investment Bank.* Understanding of trade instruction, confirmation, fails and settlements processes.* Flexibility and experience in managing high urgency tasks and adjusting to shifting priorities.* Strong organisational, problem-solving and analytical skills with high level of attention to detail.* Competence in the use of Microsoft Office as well as DTCC CTM.
