About the Role:
Our client, an industry-leading media company, is looking for a skilled Workday Financial Senior Associate to join their finance team in London. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting and optimising the recently implemented Workday ERP and Adaptive systems, ensuring seamless functionality and continuous improvement. You'll be central to post go-live support, troubleshooting, and configuration, while also playing a key role as the team plans to further develop its Workday HCM capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations and support for the Workday system on a global scale.
  • Provide both technical and functional assistance for core processes in finance, IT, procurement, and expenses.
  • Stay on top of Workday updates, testing changes to ensure data accuracy and operational stability.
  • Handle issue resolution by managing support tickets from finance and other business areas.
  • Oversee Adaptive administration and optimize processes where possible.
  • Build strong working relationships with the finance team and other global stakeholders.
  • Assist with configuration updates, assess new system features, and contribute to a smooth implementation.
  • Create informative resources for users to support smooth adoption of system changes.
  • Oversee relationships with third-party providers involved in Workday support.

What We're Looking For:

  • 2-3 years of experience with Workday, particularly in finance administration and configuration; certification is a plus.
  • At least 1 year of experience with Adaptive and familiarity with related implementation projects.
  • Knowledge of finance systems and processes, particularly in supporting a post go-live environment.
  • Understanding of data security practices and experience managing security within Workday.
  • A proactive, can-do attitude and a genuine desire to grow within the team.
