Pentagon Talent have partnered with a top 60 London Law firm, operating on a global capacity. Boasting with close to 100 years' worth of experience and more than 300 employees, my client is seeking a dynamic WIP Controller to join their experienced and well supported team of Revenue Controllers who operate out of the firm's Central London Office. The WIP Controller will report into a seasoned Revenue Manager who has extensive experience in the firm's processes. Working closely with the Revenue Manager and other team members in London the successful WIP Controller will be responsible for liaising with various internal departments and senior stakeholders across the business to ensure bills are paid in a timely manner and you are managing their bad debt provisions accordingly.Duties/Responsibilities of the WIP Controller路 Working to ensure that time entries are resolved and charged accordingly路 Seeking authorisation for edits and time transfers and processed accurately路 Producing bills are accurately raised and submitted for processing路 Raising write offs for unbillable time and disbursements路 Reviewing bills to ensure that they comply with the correct VAT and SAR.路 Raising credit notes where applicable路 Organising overdue debt and chasing where required路 Proactively keeping in regular dialogue with the partners and fee earners to ensure that queries are being managed within the time constraints路 Producing statements and reminder letters路 Looking at reviewing the bad debt provision on a monthly basis and updating accordingly路 Being the main port of call to identify missing timesheets and chasing where accordinglyDesired experience of the WIP Controller路 Experience within a Revenue/Credit Control environment路 Previous experience with Elite/Aderant would be preferred 路 Insight into bad debt provisions 路 Good attention to detail路 A can do attitude 路 Resilient 路 A strong communicator路 Collaborates well in a team路 Able to work on project by your own路 A strong multitasker who can juggle a number of tasks at onceIf you are a seasoned Revenue/Credit Controller who has a mix of handling WIP, chasing debt and understands the start to finish process of billing, then this is a fantastic role for you.
