Are you an Accounts Assistant or Accounts Semi Senior who is either fully AAT Qualified or has just started the ACCA or ACA, looking to upgrade to a very prestigious Top 20 firm based in Central London (City location)? Are you keen to utilise your existing skills and work in a larger firm, gain exposure to larger clients and be trained so you can progress and improve your statutory accounts, management accounts, VAT, Corporation Tax and Bookkeeping experience? Are you also looking for study support so you can start or continue your ACCA or ACA exams? Based in the busy Accounts & Business Services department, your role will be varied and include being trained so that you can prepare: Statutory Accounts, Management Accounts, Corporation tax returns, VAT returns and Bookkeeping based assignments. You will gain exposure to a wide range of clients from interesting sectors such as property, retail, media, entertainment, technology, financial services, professional practices, charities and renewable energy. You will also use cloud based software packages such as Xero, Sage One and Quickbooks Online. You will work in a growing and supportive team and be provided with many opportunities to learn new skills and progress in a short space of time. The firm offers hybrid working and allows all staff to work at least 2 days a week from home. The firm is also very sociable and there is a great work life balance for such a large firm.

To be considered for this newly created role (November 2024) you will likely be an Accounts Assistant, Accounts Semi Senior or Trainee Accountant, either fully AAT qualified or in the very early stages of the ACCA or ACA (passed no more than 4 exams to date). You must have at least 2 years experience in a UK based accountancy practice firm. You must have experience of at least bookkeeping assignments and VAT returns, and it would be an advantage if you had experience of statutory accounts and tax returns. Ideally you will have experience of cloud based software packages such as Xero.
