VisionFR is recruiting an Accounts Assistant on behalf of a fab creative company based in central London. As Accounts Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting their finance team. You will handle various accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing of financial transactions.
Responsibilities of the Accounts Assistant will include:
Accounts Payable and Receivable:
Process invoices, reconcile accounts, and manage payments.
Monitor outstanding balances and follow up with clients/vendors.
General Ledger Maintenance:
Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date general ledger entries.
Bank Reconciliations:
Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
Expense Management:
Review employee expense reports and process reimbursements.
Assist with Audits:
Provide necessary documentation during audits.
Ad Hoc Tasks:
Support the finance team with additional tasks as needed.
Accounts Assistant Key Attributes Required:
- Prior experience in an accounting role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with Xero or Paprika
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills
