An Architecture and Design company in the City is seeking an Accounts Assistant to join their finance team of six as they continue to grow sustainably.
The position offers a salary range of £30,000 to £35,000 and allows for hybrid work after the probation period, with four days in the office and one day at home.
Daily responsibilities include assisting with month-end duties, managing cash flow and purchase ledger, and preparing VAT returns.
Candidates should have experience with accounts software like Sage 200 and possess strong bookkeeping skills, preferably within the Property or Construction sector.
A minimum of two years of relevant experience is required for this role.

Daily Responsibilities:

Assisting with month-end duties including accruals, prepayments & fixed assets
Managing Cash flow and Purchase Ledger
Preparing and submitting CIS returns
Prepare and reconcile VAT returns
Intercompany charges
Credit card statement reconciliation

Requirements:

Experience with Accounts Software (Sage 200 or similar)
Strong Bookkeeping experience, ideally within Property/Construction
