Our client an award winning Advertising and creative agency are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their finance team. Working closely with the Finance Director on a wide range of financial tasks including the administration of purchase and sales ledgers, credit control, cash flow management, and more. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking to develop their skills in financial management. Their is opportunity for development and get involved in month end reporting duties.

This is a permanent position paying £30,000 - £35,000. + hybrid working.
Day-to-day of the role:- Manage the purchase ledger, including invoice coding, authorisation, and processing payments using Paprika; liaise with suppliers and handle payment runs.
- Oversee the sales ledger, including invoicing, credit control, and processing receipts.
- Conduct cash management tasks such as bank reconciliations and cash flow forecasting.
- Maintain treasury deposits and the 90-day account, including register maintenance and implementation of roll-overs.
- Manage petty cash, company credit cards, and employee expenses.
- Control time sheets and manage two finance shared mailboxes.
- Liaise with credit companies regarding queries and limit adjustments.
- Maintain the Fixed Asset Register and handle monthly depreciation journals.
- Manage monthly prepayment journals and reconciliations.
- Assist with the annual audit and liaise with auditors for P11ds and PSA.
- Provide Paprika training and act as the main finance point of contact for internal and external queries.
- Handle ad hoc tasks as assigned by the Finance Director, Senior Leadership Team, and Founder/CFO.
- At least 1 year accounting experience
- AAT/ACCA/CIMA studier preferable
- Experience of Paprika software- desirable
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
- Organisational agility with the ability to work effectively in a fast-moving environment.
- Proficient in Excel and other IT skills
- Ambitious, reliable, self-motivated, and capable of using initiative to deliver results.
