Accounts Assistant - London OUR CLIENT are a reputable, Build to Rent Landlord currently managing c3000 homes with plans to double the size of the portfolio in the next few years. Due to this growth, they now require an additional Accounts Assistant to join their team.
THE ROLE: Assistant Service Charge Accountant will be responsible for:
- Daily invoice inputs and matching to purchase orders.
- Liaising with suppliers on invoice queries and following up discrepancies.
- Maintaining the supplier ledger and preparing regular payment runs.
- Daily performing bank reconciliations.
- Setting the monthly rental charge and following up credit control with property managers.
- Ensuring ad-hoc payments are accurately processed.
- Reconciling the deposit account with TDS.
- Coding and checking void expenses.
- General finance administration.
- Preparing employee expenses and credit card expenditure.
THE PERSON: To apply for this role as an Assistant Service Charge Accountant, you will:
- Previous experience as an Accounts Assistant in real estate is essential.
- Being able to multi-task and manage your time effectively
- Experience of using property management systems such as QUBE, TRAMP, YARDI is beneficial but not essential.
