Our Client seeks an Assistant Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis in West London. The Assistant Accountant would require 2-4 years plus experience within this role and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Duties of the Assistant Accountant include:

  • Month End: Posting revenue and expense journals during the month. Then supporting FC in adjustments for month end.
  • Financial Tasks: Assisting with billing invoices, preparing budgets, managing cash flow, and handling purchase orders.
  • General Ledger: Maintaining accurate records in the general ledger.
  • Reconciliation: Ensuring and investigating reconciliation between transactions systems, partners and banks.
  • Accounts Payable & Receivable: Overseeing payment processing and vendor relations.
  • Financial Reports: Assisting in writing monthly financial reports.

Requirements for the Assistant Accountant include:

  • Part qualified or AAT qualified.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and organisational abilities.
  • Proficiency in financial planning software (e.g., Microsoft Excel and Sage).
