We are seeking a qualified bookkeeper to assist in our practice in Islington, North London.

This is a full-time position based in the office Monday to Friday during office hours, with the vision to assist in other duties that would support the team and office. To be considered you must have extensive experience in bookkeeping, qualification desirable in ACCA, AAT or similar.

Duties include:

  • Bookkeeping.
  • Submitting Vat returns.
  • Producing basic month end accounts.
  • Liaising with accountants.
  • Budgeting and forecasting.
  • PAYE processing.
  • Reconciling bank accounts.
  • Providing additional support to the finance team as needed, such as data analysis, assisting with audits, or handling expense reports.
  • Working closely with colleagues across the business to provide financial insights and ensure efficient operations.

We seek a detail-oriented, reliable individual who thrives in a team environment. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A solid understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices.
  • Experience in management accounts preparation, including prepayments and accruals.
  • Strong proficiency with accounting software and Excel.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills to handle a varied workload.
  • A proactive and adaptable attitude, ready to assist with tasks as needed.
