The Role:
As a Business Services Senior / Senior Bookkeeper, you will:
- Prepare management accounts for a varied portfolio of clients, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Handle bookkeeping tasks using software such as Sage, QuickBooks, and Xero.
- Support the preparation of group consolidations for larger clients.
- Work closely with the Business Services Manager and other team members to ensure the smooth running of client accounts.
- Mentor junior staff and assist in their development.
- Liaise with clients directly, providing insights and ensuring a high level of service.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience: At least 5 years of UK-based bookkeeping or management accounts experience.
- Qualifications: AAT Level 3 or above, with ACCA study support available for those looking to further their qualifications.
- Skills: Proficiency with bookkeeping and accounts software (Sage, QuickBooks, Xero, Iris). Experience with group consolidations is a plus.
- Mindset: A proactive, hands-on professional with excellent communication skills and a passion for client service.
