Our client is seeking a bright, dynamic, and ambitious Graduate Accounts Assistant to join their London-based Finance Team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a lively environment within an ever-growing business. The successful candidate will have exposure to a wide range of tasks throughout the finance function, including managing debtors, creditors, bank reconciliations and other elements of day-to-day bookkeeping, as well as key parts of month and year-end reporting.

Responsibilities:

As a Graduate Accounts Assistant, your role will be pivotal within the finance team. You will manage both accounts receivable and payable functions, dealing with both internal and external queries. Your support in the treasury function will include reconciling bank accounts and preparing monthly bank account reconciliations. You will assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and support the year-end audit process by collecting key audit information. Additionally, you will be responsible for extracting, summarising and presenting financial data for internal and external parties. Ad hoc finance administration duties may also be required.

The Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate for this Graduate Accounts Assistant position is someone who is actively studying towards a professional qualification (AAT or ACA/ ACCA equivalent) or has recently graduated. You should have knowledge of basic accounting principles and be proficient in Excel. Being self-motivated and driven is essential for success in this role.
