We are seeking a detail-oriented Entry-Level Bookkeeper to support the financial operations. If you have a keen interest in the arts, have recently graduated and have some experience in accounts, invoices and want to contribute to a vibrant production environment, this role is for you!

Key Responsibilities

  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
  • Data Entry: Input financial transactions into accounting software with precision.
  • Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank reconciliations and track expenses.
  • Invoice Management: Prepare and process invoices, ensuring timely payments and follow-ups.
  • Expense Reporting: Assist in compiling and organizing expense reports.
  • Compliance: Assist in maintaining compliance with company policies and relevant financial regulations.

Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
  • Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) or willingness to learn.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
