We are looking for a highly organised and hands-on senior bookkeeper to join a fast-growing business within the creative industry. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, unstructured environment and enjoys implementing processes to drive efficiency. You will play a key role in streamlining financial operations, cleaning up historic accounts, and ensuring smooth day-to-day finance management. With flexibility in working arrangements and the opportunity to make a real impact, this is a great role for someone who wants to take ownership and bring order to a creative, high-growth business.Key Responsibilities
  • Process implementation and streamlining – improve and refine financial workflows, ensuring efficiency and accuracy
  • Accounts clean-up – review and tidy up historic accounts, reconciling discrepancies and implementing better record-keeping practices
  • Financial management – oversee day-to-day finance tasks, including bookkeeping, payments, and reconciliations
  • Artist statements – prepare initial job statements for artists, ensuring accurate financial reporting
  • Management accounts – maintain and update records in collaboration with an outsourced finance function
Key Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience as a senior bookkeeper or in a similar finance role
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial processing
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and unstructured environment while implementing order and efficiency
  • Proactive and hands-on – someone who isn’t afraid to get stuck in
  • Previous experience in the creative industries is desirable 
  • Excellent communication skills 
This is a part-time role (3 days per week), with 1-2 days based in the office.
