Investment management and pension services provider for public sector pension funds in their search for an Analyst across Actuarial and Funding Risk

Oliver James are pleased to be working with an investment management and pension services provider for public sector pension funds in their search for an Analyst across Actuarial and Funding Risk to join them on a permanent basis. Within this role you will develop funding and contribution risk modelling, analysis and reporting for LPPI's pension fund clients and stakeholders. This will include the development and monitoring of client risk appetite statements, risk management oversight of long-term client funding strategy and maintaining the team's ALM software. Role requirements:

  • Experienced part or NNQ level Actuary (or qualified by experience)
  • Demonstrable UK DB pensions knowledge from within a technical or pensions modelling role
  • Experience of using asset liability modelling software and working within a risk management framework
  • Experience in using PowerBI, ALM software, some prior coding knowledge would be attractive but not essential

This is an excellent opportunity to join a team with plenty of longevity due to working on open LGPS schemes. This is a fairly small team that can offer plenty of variety and the chance to get stuck in to a broad range of work.
