Oliver James are currently working with a reputable and leading partner lead consultancy seeking an Actuarial Analyst/Senior Actuarial Checker to join their office in London, Glasgow or Edinburgh. Actuarial exams/studier not required.This person will be responsible for checking process-based and more bespoke liability valuation work and contributing to improving the efficiency of these processes. Typical work will include actuarial valuation calculations, funding updates, transfer values and accounting disclosures, risk transfer calculations and GMP equalisation.Role requirements:

  • Degree Qualified
  • Proven defined benefit actuarial analyst experience
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel or similar package (eg VBA)
