This is a great opportunity within a leading global Entertainment organisation with an international presence in the TV & Film industry! An employer of choice with a great culture, this position sits within a friendly, busy and collaborative team and reports to the AP Manager.
The AP Specialist will responsible for the end to end processing of invoices across both central functions and productions, both for the UK and international territories.
The role will suit a candidate who has a minimum of 12 months Accounts Payable experience who thrives in a fast paced environment. You will be a great team player, a confident and friendly communicator, have initiative and enjoy taking responsibility for your own portfolio of business units.
This is a great opportunity to work for a leading Media/Entertainment company. This is a hybrid working role, requiring you to be in the office 2-3 days a week.
Responsibilities of the role include:
- Processing of all invoices on to the system, chasing for missing information/Pos
- Daily/weekly & monthly payment runs for the UK & International territories, working in a variety of currencies
- Generate CHAP, BACs and urgent payments, uploading onto the banking system
- Full maintenance and reconciliation of supplier accounts and statements
- Ensure all existing supplier account information is kept up to date and validation of new suppliers to mitigate any fraudulent activity
- Month end duties
- Resolution of invoice & supplier queries
- Process expense claims
- Aged debtor reconciliation and reporting
- Journal preparation
Candidate specification:
- A minimum of 12 months previous accounts payable experience
- Confident communication skills, both verbal & written
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a strong customer focus
- Highly organised, great attention to detail and deadline orientated
- Flexible and adaptable in your approach
- Accounts experience gained within TV/Film, Entertainment or media environment would be an advantage
- Exposure to SAP would be beneficial
